GOODHEAT HEAT PUMP WATER HEATER HOW IT WORKS The Goodheat pump water heater system is a device that helps in heating water by using heat from surrounding air. The basic need for hot water is very expensive as it heaps a huge amount of energy. It is believed that more than 30% of domestic energy is used to heat water. One way to cut down the massive electricity bills due to water heating is to invest in solar water heaters. A heat pump water heater (HPWH) is an energy-efficient alternative to conventional water heaters that uses electricity to transfer heat from the air to water, rather than generating heat directly. This process, similar to how a refrigerator works in reverse, can significantly reduce energy consumption and operating costs. Heated water is collected in a tank which is insulated to prevent heat loss. Water is easily heated to a temperature of 45-65 C. HPWH of 200-300 liters capacity are suited for domestic use including use in the bathroom and the kitchen. Several units can be combined for use in a commercial setting such as SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITIES, HOSPITALS, AIRBNBs, CREAMERIES and more. A residence can save 40-60% on electricity or fuel bills by replacing its conventional water heater with a heat pump water heating system. BENEFITS High energy efficiency: HPWHs are two to four times more efficient than conventional water heaters. This can reduce water heating costs by 60% to 75%. Low operating costs: The lower energy consumption leads to significant long-term savings on utility bills.
